Descriere

  • Lead daily finance activities across a growing, multi-entity proptech group
  • Oversee payroll, payments, reconciliations, month-end close, and statutory compliance
  • Strengthen finance operations through automation and scalable process design
  • Prepare entity-level trial balances and management accounts, including for overseas subsidiaries
  • Support group consolidation in accordance with FRS 102
  • Manage intercompany balances, foreign exchange translation, and acquisition accounting
  • Lead group and subsidiary audits through planning, execution, and completion
  • Monitor Companies House deadlines, audit exemptions, and accounting reference date changes
  • Support VAT returns, R&D tax credit claims, PSA submissions, and P11D filings
  • Oversee monthly payroll and resolve payslip-related questions
  • Calculate and manage variable sales commission payments
  • Maintain share scheme compliance, including EMI notifications and annual returns
  • Process employee expenses and verify appropriate VAT treatment
  • Run weekly customer refund and supplier payment cycles
  • Reconcile bank, Stripe, and CRM records while investigating unmatched receipts
  • Issue invoices and monitor related partner and agent invoices
  • Oversee landlord rent collection and distributions for the L&M business
  • Manage credit control, irrecoverable invoices, and failed subscription payments
  • Match deal revenue, agent fees, and customer incentives in HubSpot with finance records
  • Own Stripe subscription billing policy, including discount and fee-waiver approvals
  • Review vendor expenditure and identify emerging cost trends
  • Automate, standardize, and document manual finance processes
  • Create and maintain finance guidance for the broader team
  • Partner with Sales, Support, Property Management, external accountants, and auditors

Cerințe

  • CA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification, or equivalent experience
  • At least three years of finance experience, ideally including practice experience
  • Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102, including consolidation and intercompany accounting
  • Advanced Excel capability for formula-based reconciliations and financial models
  • Experience handling large datasets from bank exports, Stripe, and CRM platforms
  • Ability to clean and combine datasets, detect patterns and anomalies, and communicate useful insights
  • Able to explain financial matters clearly and concisely to non-finance colleagues
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment
  • A practical, continuous-improvement approach to processes
  • Experience with finance tools such as Xero, Joiin, Stripe, HubSpot, Count.io, Google Sheets, and Notion
  • Practical ability to use automation platforms such as Zapier
  • Eligible to work in the UK; the application asks whether visa sponsorship is required
