Electrical Engineer – Buildings (Jakarta, Hybrid)
Design complex building electrical systems for Aurecon in Indonesia, covering power, lighting, communications, and related infrastructure. Support projects from feasibility and concept development through detailed design and construction.
Descriere
- Develop electrical designs, reports, proposals, specifications, and supporting documentation
- Complete calculations and technical analyses aligned with client requirements
- Support project planning activities
- Plan and oversee resources for small projects and defined portions of larger projects
- Address technical clarifications and participate in client and project meetings
- Deliver feasibility studies, project definitions, concept designs, specifications, and detailed design documentation
- Coordinate drafting activities and review completed drawings
- Evaluate electrical project proposals
- Support fee proposals, tenders, and technical specifications
- Contribute to technical and commercial tender assessments
- Analyze and design ELV, LV, MV, and HV power, lighting, lightning protection, earthing, and communications systems
- Develop submission processes and design standards
- Carry out site investigations and audits to inform design development and improvements
- Work with internal teams, clients, architects, contractors, and authorities from concept through construction
- Apply company policies, procedures, and applicable legislative requirements
- Lead by example on health and safety matters
- Contribute to business planning for the relevant unit or office
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least three years of relevant experience in building electrical design and the commissioning of M&E systems for modern commercial and industrial buildings
- Data centre experience is preferred
- Experience in data centre or telecommunications projects is preferred
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage team performance
- Strong engineering consulting and client management capabilities
- Experience delivering major or complex design projects for blue-chip clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa
- Commercial, analytical, and technical proficiency
- Ability to communicate complex engineering designs and solutions to non-technical audiences
- Experience delivering innovative, complex commercial building projects in a fast-paced setting
- Experience managing, or an interest in managing, projects from strategic and detailed planning through concept and detailed design
