Descriere

  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for foreign-assistance data.
  • Create and refine data models, schemas, and cloud architectures supporting reports, dashboards, and advanced analytics.
  • Establish data-quality checks, validation routines, and monitoring practices.
  • Apply automation and AI tools thoughtfully to improve operational efficiency.
  • Investigate and analyze foreign-assistance data as needed.
  • Contribute to predictive analytics and limited machine-learning initiatives when appropriate.
  • Keep documentation, metadata, and governance practices aligned with Department of State policies.
  • Explain technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Handle related duties within a small, agile team to help deliver project objectives.
  • Continue developing knowledge of data technologies relevant to Department of State clients.
  • Help foster a respectful workplace free from discrimination, bias, exclusion, offensive conduct, and harassment.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, economics, statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Background developing data models and building and managing data pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure and Databricks.
  • Experience applying automation and AI tools judiciously to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities, together with intellectual curiosity.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to varied stakeholders.
  • Capacity to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong multitasking and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize work.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • U.S. citizenship required for eligibility for the necessary U.S. government security clearance.
  • A master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
