Descriere

  • Translate Profluent’s frontier science into a distinctive brand and public presence for an AI lab focused on biology
  • Direct the creative workflow across all brand touchpoints, from initial concept through final delivery
  • Set final creative direction in partnership with the Head of Communications and Brand and the CEO
  • Advance the visual identity system across typography, color, imagery, motion, and design standards
  • Manage the creative budget while developing the function over time
  • Recruit and lead designers, producers, and contractors as the team expands
  • Oversee external partners, including videographers, designers, and creative agencies
  • Art direct and produce photography, illustration, podcasts, video, social content, and announcements
  • Create presentations, white papers, and launch materials for technical audiences
  • Guide cosmetic and structural website updates with contractors and make direct edits when needed
  • Develop content for social channels and executive communications
  • Direct Profluent’s creative presence at conferences and company-hosted events
  • Establish brand and design infrastructure, including templates, asset libraries, and standard operating procedures

Cerințe

  • Bring 10–12 years of experience in brand and creative roles
  • Demonstrate Creative Director-level leadership across both hands-on production and creative direction in multiple mediums
  • Provide a portfolio showing leadership in motion and video, editorial, digital, environmental and event design, and physical merchandise
  • Translate complex technical subjects into clear, human, non-promotional creative work
  • Have experience in biotechnology, artificial intelligence, or deep technology
  • Work fluently in Figma, Descript or another video editor, Webflow, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Work fluently with Slack, Google Workspace, Notion, and Airtable
  • Have owned budgets and managed employees or external creative teams
  • Prioritize execution and consistently move work through publication
  • Bring the taste, judgment, and confidence to establish direction and defend a point of view with founders and scientists
  • Maintain ongoing authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States
