Contracts Specialist

Descriere

  • Draft, review, revise, negotiate, and execute Master Agreements, excluding commercial terms.
  • Support category management in engineering, procurement, and chemicals.
  • Gather input from supply chain management, Legal, Insurance, Tax, Credit, and other functional teams.
  • Assess supplier redlines and develop practical, risk-aware responses using approved templates, fallback language, and legal guidance.
  • Choose suitable contract types in line with Legal guidance.
  • Encourage consistent use of approved contract terms, processes, and practices across the SCM Contracts Center.
  • Record business decisions, legal feedback, negotiation rationale, approved exceptions, status updates, and contract records.
  • Spot recurring contracting issues, supplier negotiation patterns, template gaps, process inefficiencies, and opportunities for master agreements, playbooks, alternative clauses, or clearer intake guidance.
  • Follow Enbridge policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Handle multiple negotiations, urgent requests, stakeholder expectations, and deadline-driven contracting work.

Cerințe

  • A university degree in business, law, paralegal studies, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • At least six years of progressive experience in contract management, supplier contracting, or in-house paralegal work drafting and negotiating supplier agreements.
  • Experience drafting Master Agreements and negotiating complex terms and conditions with suppliers and service providers.
  • Strong knowledge of contract risk allocation, including indemnification, limits of liability, insurance, and other key provisions.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to establish credibility across business functions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities, several negotiations, and tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Oracle Cloud, Icertis, SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and electronic signature tools such as Adobe Sign.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is based without sponsorship from Enbridge.
  • Final candidates may need to complete security screening, including a criminal records check.
  • Preferred: Experience with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts.
  • Preferred: Credentials such as World Commerce & Contracting (WCC), IACCM, a paralegal designation, PMAC, ISM, or other contract management or supply chain certifications.
  • Preferred: Experience in construction, oil and gas, or large industrial environments.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with contract lifecycle management systems, including Icertis.
