Descriere

  • Maintain database operations and physical database design
  • Support dependable database performance and availability
  • Tune indexes and databases to improve efficiency and responsiveness
  • Assess database designs and system integrations
  • Support database backup and recovery activities
  • Identify and recommend database enhancements
  • Maintain data security, integrity, and database environment controls
  • Create and enforce database management policies, procedures, and standards
  • Track transaction activity and resource utilization to support system stability
  • Develop stored procedures and triggers when needed for application and system requirements
  • Work within Northrop Grumman’s Product Support organization in the Aeronautics Systems Sector

Cerințe

  • Complete or have completed an accredited bachelor’s degree by December 2026 for the Associate Database Administrator Level 1 role
  • Complete or have completed an accredited master’s degree by December 2026, or hold an accredited bachelor’s degree plus two years of related experience by December 2026, for the Database Administrator Level 2 role
  • Hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, or a similar field
  • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance and Program Special Access within a reasonable period
  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • A final approved U.S. Government security clearance and Program Special Access may be required before starting
  • An active DoD Secret or higher security clearance is preferred
  • A cumulative GPA of 3.25 out of 4.0 or higher is preferred
  • Previous internship, co-op, or other professional experience is preferred
  • Leadership, teamwork, interpersonal communication, and professional, community, or extracurricular involvement are preferred
  • Experience administering Oracle databases, including PL/SQL, installation, configuration, and upgrades, is preferred
  • Experience using Oracle in Windows environments is preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Access applications and VBA is preferred
  • Experience with the Sunflower Asset Management Database is preferred
  • Familiarity with Python, Perl, or Java is preferred
  • A current Security+ certification is preferred
