Associate Counsel, Corporate and Commercial
Advise Technogym’s U.S. headquarters and international teams on contracts, product liability, privacy, and compliance. The role is based onsite in Jersey City and supports the company’s fitness and wellness business.
Descriere
- Prepare legal documents and manage contract administration for Technogym’s U.S. headquarters.
- Maintain established legal processes and platforms.
- Advise on U.S. legal matters, especially product liability, data privacy, and after-sales service agreements.
- Counsel business leaders on legal exposure, strategy, and operational matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements for projects across regions in Italian and English.
- Provide general business law advice on product quality and liability, digital tools, privacy, after-sales matters, and intellectual property.
- Join discussions with clients, suppliers, and project teams.
- Handle corporate formalities with notaries and local authorities, including securing certificates and corporate records.
- Prepare correspondence concerning contractual duties, pre-litigation matters, and claims.
- Advise on claims and work with external litigation counsel.
- Create procedures, matrices, policies, templates, and standards for Technogym Group.
- Help business teams address specific matters involving intellectual property, competition, and information technology law.
- Give focused legal guidance across practice areas and partner with teams throughout Technogym Group.
- Improve legal operations and proactively identify, manage, report, and escalate legal risks.
- Help ensure business activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Produce high-quality work to deadline.
Cerințe
- Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association-accredited law school.
- Active bar admission in New York or New Jersey; admission in additional states is a plus.
- At least 5–7 years of experience, including law firm work and ideally in-house counsel experience.
- Substantial experience with corporate and commercial legal matters.
- Demonstrated ability to implement policies and projects across an international organization.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, results-focused setting.
- Practical, solutions-oriented approach to problem solving.
- Record of effectiveness in an unstructured business environment with limited corporate support.
- Process-minded, well organized, and able to run parallel projects while prioritizing competing demands.
- Experience in a related industry, such as technology or luxury brands, is strongly preferred.
- Able to meet in-office requirements.
