Descriere

  • Build, deploy, and maintain Android applications across multiple projects
  • Collaborate with teammates to solve technical problems and deliver software that meets requirements and Garmin coding standards
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define, design, and release features for advanced Android applications
  • Resolve defects and optimize application performance
  • Assess and adopt technologies that improve the software development process
  • Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions
  • Use tools supporting version control, deployment, monitoring, and related engineering workflows
  • Mentor and support less experienced Software Engineers
  • Own technical areas and contribute substantially through implementation and architectural proposals

Cerințe

  • Strong command of Android Architecture Components, Jetpack Compose, Java or Kotlin, Android Studio, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
  • At least five years of Android development experience
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to shifting priorities, show initiative, and maintain a strong work ethic
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to solve problems independently and collaboratively within a small team
  • Clear and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Professional fluency in English
  • Experience leading small projects, accepting additional responsibilities, or acting as a team point of contact is advantageous
  • Bluetooth or BLE stack experience is advantageous
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies is advantageous
