- Write detailed storylines
- Design and build quests in Unreal Engine 5
- Plan the assets needed for quest creation
- Coordinate with other departments
- Combine gameplay, locations, characters, dialogue, and delivered assets into cohesive player experiences
- Maintain quest quality and resolve reported bugs
- Create and update design documentation
- Develop original stories set in The Witcher and Cyberpunk universes
- Engage the global player community through memorable experiences
- Mentor fellow designers and provide feedback
Prasības
- At least six years of experience in quest or mission design
- At least one shipped AAA game with substantial narrative design
- Strong creativity and narrative writing ability
- Proven skill writing scenarios, screenplays, or short stories
- Advanced proficiency with visual scripting tools
- Experience with game editors and game design tools
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Ability to design in-game features and tools that support efficient implementation
- Ability to receive and incorporate feedback through iterative development
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams throughout the game development lifecycle
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience mentoring designers and giving clear, constructive feedback
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
- Passion for games, especially cRPGs or pen-and-paper role-playing games
- Fluent English
- A portfolio or examples of completed work are required for Quest Design roles
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 Blueprints is preferred
- Credited narrative work in film, theatre, or books is preferred
- Knowledge of Andrzej Sapkowski’s Witcher universe is preferred
- Familiarity with fantasy across games, films, and literature is preferred
