  • Lead the development, enhancement, and implementation of commodity price assessment methodologies and benchmark initiatives
  • Work with commodity leaders and market reporting teams on methodology application, editorial governance, and Platts Editorial Standards
  • Offer subject matter expertise and strategic direction on market developments, emerging opportunities, and evolving trading practices
  • Address methodology, assessment, and benchmark matters, including complaint investigations, price reviews, and governance processes
  • Collaborate with market participants, industry groups, Commercial, Product, Technology, and Market Development teams
  • Support market engagement, methodology consultations, and market education programs
  • Advance continuous improvement through training, mentoring, documentation management, and best-practice development

Prasības

  • At least eight years of professional experience in energy, commodities, or a related field
  • Extensive knowledge of price assessment methodologies, benchmark administration, and methodology governance
  • Substantial experience with commodity markets, including trading dynamics, price formation, and market structure
  • Demonstrated expertise in at least one commodity sector, with the ability to apply that knowledge across related markets
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and collaborate across a global organization
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience with benchmark governance frameworks, including the IOSCO Principles for Price Reporting Agencies and the EU Benchmark Regulation
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional projects
  • Experience representing an organization at industry conferences, customer events, or professional forums
  • Leadership and coaching skills
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities
  • Indefinite right to work in the United States
