  • Lead and develop software engineering teams through coaching, career guidance, and performance feedback.
  • Write and review production Java code, troubleshoot complex issues, and support technical delivery.

Prasības

  • Bring at least seven years of software engineering experience, including leadership of teams delivering enterprise applications and services, or equivalent experience.
  • Have experience managing or leading software engineers in Agile development environments, or equivalent experience.
  • Remain willing and able to code hands-on while leading and developing an engineering team.
  • Demonstrate strong hands-on Java and Spring Boot skills across the design, coding, testing, and troubleshooting of enterprise applications.
  • Understand software architecture, microservices, distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native application development.
  • Have experience with relational database technologies.
  • Have experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
  • Have supported production applications with a focus on reliability, monitoring, and operational excellence.
  • Bring strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
  • Have led technical planning, estimation, prioritization, and execution.
  • Show success attracting, developing, mentoring, and retaining engineering talent.
  • Have partnered with Product Management and business stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Preferred: experience leading teams working with React, Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Oracle, and microservices architectures.
  • Preferred: experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and high-volume transactional applications.
  • Preferred: experience with AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes environments.
  • Preferred: knowledge of object-oriented design, domain-driven design, API-first development, and secure coding principles.
  • Preferred: experience with automated testing strategies, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices.
  • Preferred: experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or similar messaging platforms.
  • Preferred: experience leading application modernization, cloud migrations, and monolith-to-microservices transformations.
  • Preferred: strong understanding of monitoring, logging, performance optimization, and reliability engineering.
  • Preferred: experience in insurance, claims, financial services, warranty services, or other highly regulated industries.
