  • Record accounting entries and reconcile accounts for highly complex companies
  • Manage fixed-asset accounts, acquisitions, disposals, depreciation, and asset movement schedules
  • Analyze and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Analyze, record, and reconcile payroll
  • Apply costing techniques and methods
  • Support accounting and month-end closing for import and export processes
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Take part in physical inventories of fixed assets and stock
  • Develop and implement process controls and internal policies
  • Track accounting legislation and CPC and IFRS standards
  • Prepare and submit ancillary filings, including ECD, IBGE, and BNDES obligations
  • Contribute to projects as needed
  • Meet with requesting departments to align on their needs
  • Train new employees
  • Recommend improvements for the department
  • Prepare financial statements
