SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager

Cerebras builds large-scale AI chips. In this role, you will prepare SEC filings, technical accounting analyses, SOX controls, and stock compensation reports.

Apraksts

  • Prepare periodic SEC filings and external reports, including financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and other required disclosures.
  • Track SEC and FASB developments, explain potential business impacts, and support reporting system and process improvements.
  • Help ensure SEC reports are complete and accurate, and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with business operations, general accounting, tax, treasury, legal, and HR to communicate and review reporting matters on time.
  • Work with external auditors on SEC filing and disclosure reviews, audit inquiries, and supporting documentation.
  • Conduct technical accounting research and analysis, and contribute to special projects.
  • Research and document accounting memos, record technical accounting matters, and prepare journal entries for complex transactions.
  • Assess new accounting standards and SEC regulations, and document the appropriate accounting treatment.
  • Help implement SOX controls and develop procedures to improve financial reporting accuracy.
  • Account for stock options, restricted stock, and ESPP awards, including valuations, monthly expense calculations, and disclosures.
  • Research new disclosure requirements and FASB accounting standards updates, and support disclosure work with external auditors.
  • Provide technical accounting support to the Senior External Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager.

Prasības

  • At least five years of combined experience at a Big Four accounting firm and in SEC reporting at a public company.
  • CPA license or equivalent; active status preferred.
  • Proficiency with Workiva and NetSuite.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and disclosure requirements.
  • Experience working with technology industry public companies.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management, leadership, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work on a fast-paced team and adapt to rapidly changing situations and conditions.
  • Motivation to learn and build knowledge in unfamiliar areas.
