Apraksts

  • Lead the design of complex workflows across Numeric’s financial operating system, from early exploration through implementation
  • Work with engineers and product managers to define unclear product problems and turn them into practical interaction models
  • Develop prototypes, reference screens, interaction specifications, and implementation guidance
  • Create or guide code-based prototypes using tools such as Claude Code
  • Collaborate with engineers during development to improve behavior, states, edge cases, information density, polish, and overall quality
  • Find and address product rough edges before they develop into product debt
  • Support user story-driven initiatives, high-fidelity refinement, and alignment between prototypes, production, and the intended final experience
  • Establish reusable patterns for review surfaces, object inspectors, inbox tasks, tables, panels, workflows, and AI-supported interactions
  • Coordinate with the design-system lead on component adoption and with engineering on prototype-to-production implementation details
  • Apply a clear perspective on craft, usability, and product clarity while staying practical about delivery priorities
  • Partner closely with engineers and product managers on Numeric’s data-intensive financial product
  • Use Claude Code, Linear, Figma, and the product itself as working design artifacts

Prasības

  • At least five years of experience in product design
  • Demonstrated strength in visual design, interaction design, and overall product craft
  • Background designing complex, technical, data-intensive, or workflow-focused products
  • Ability to work through edge cases, interface states, information density, hierarchy, and product behavior
  • Comfort working independently with limited ceremony and proactively seeking input
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineers and product managers through implementation
  • Ability to prototype quickly and select the right tool for each design problem
  • Experience with, or strong interest in, code-based design workflows using Claude Code or comparable tools
  • Ability to communicate plans visually at low fidelity and produce high-fidelity references when appropriate
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership of ambiguous problems with low ego and strong initiative
  • Experience or interest in accounting, finance, data, enterprise workflows, AI, or technical products
  • Experience designing tables, records, logs, approvals, review queues, automation, or data-transformation interfaces
  • Ability to create lightweight React/TypeScript prototypes or modify existing front-end code
  • Experience using design systems as evolving code and product systems
  • Experience in an early-stage company with substantial ownership and limited process
  • Portfolio link required
