Apraksts

  • Build end-to-end monitoring for infrastructure including Trino, Kubernetes, databases, Apache Ozone, and Hadoop
  • Automate the collection of DORA metrics
  • Create high-level dashboards that show service uptime
  • Review existing metrics and close monitoring gaps, especially in Kubernetes, databases, and distributed storage
  • Refine Alertmanager rules to identify incidents and anomalies early
  • Act as the monitoring expert and reduce team leads’ routine dashboard and alerting support workload

Prasības

  • At least 3 years of DevOps or SRE experience and at least 5 years in IT
  • Python knowledge; Go or JavaScript is a plus
  • Experience as an SRE or monitoring engineer focused on infrastructure reliability rather than product feature development
  • In-depth knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager
  • Experience writing complex PromQL queries and reducing alert fatigue
  • Practical understanding of SLI, SLO, and SLA concepts and error budgets
  • Understanding of methods for collecting DORA metrics
  • Experience with Kubernetes and databases
  • Ability to quickly understand metrics from distributed systems such as Hadoop and Trino
  • Ability to turn abstract system behavior and logs into clear, structured, actionable metrics
