Senior UI-Focused Full-Stack Software Engineer
Build TypeScript and React applications for Leonardo DRS radar and defense systems. Develop full-stack features, APIs, and integrations in an on-site role.
Aprašymas
- Build and maintain front-end applications and full-stack features for mission-critical radar and defense systems.
- Create user-facing features with TypeScript, React, and related front-end tools.
- Develop application structure, reusable components, state management, asynchronous data handling, testing practices, and maintainability.
- Connect interfaces to backend services, REST APIs, data sources, messaging interfaces, and system workflows.
- Work with backend, Linux, systems, integration, and test engineers to deliver reliable features from complex requirements.
- Troubleshoot the application stack, from UI behavior and APIs to asynchronous data flow, deployment configuration, and system integration.
- Learn the Linux backend environment, including Rust services, to support full-stack development and cross-layer debugging.
- Take part in code reviews, design discussions, testing, documentation, production delivery, and mentoring junior engineers.
Reikalavimai
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field and at least five years of relevant software engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Strong production UI development experience with TypeScript and a component-based framework such as React, React Native, or Angular.
- Experience designing, building, testing, debugging, and maintaining complex user-facing features based on workflows, CONOPS, or limited requirements.
- Experience connecting front-end applications to backend services, APIs, data sources, or system workflows.
- Experience with a backend or general-purpose language such as Python, C#, Java, Node.js, Go, C, C++, Rust, or a similar language.
- Experience or coursework in compiled or systems-level languages and topics such as memory management, concurrency, networking, operating systems, or debugging.
- Experience with Git and collaborative software development.
- Ability to learn complex technical domains, communicate clearly, mentor less experienced engineers, and work across software, systems, integration, and test teams.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Must hold an active DOD security clearance or be able to obtain one within a reasonable time after starting employment.
