Aprašymas

  • Develop product features with technical program, software development, and product stakeholders.
  • Champion sound practices in player architecture, design, and development.
  • Partner with internal and external teams to architect, design, and build the Player SDK.
  • Guide product work from concept through development, testing, acceptance, adoption, and ongoing iteration.
  • Promote operational excellence and measure performance with relevant metrics.
  • Monitor architecture and design developments, protocol specifications, and opportunities to improve.
  • Propose product features and performance enhancements.
  • Refine the product continuously and assess work critically.
  • Support internal customers and improve playback for end users.
  • Mentor software development engineers and assist the software development manager with backlog refinement and estimates.

Reikalavimai

  • Bring 5–9 years of experience in broadcasting video or OTT and in architecting native applications for Apple platforms.
  • Understand Swift, including concurrency and the Combine framework.
  • Know UIKit; SwiftUI experience is a plus.
  • Have experience with unit testing using XCTest and with integration testing.
  • Use profiling tools such as Instruments to debug applications.
  • Understand Apple and Apple TV architecture, media frameworks, Media Player APIs, AVFoundation, and the Apple SDK.
  • Make data-informed technical decisions about architecture and new feature design.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize performance.
  • Experience with DevOps or SRE practices such as CI/CD, performance monitoring, and incident management is a plus.
  • Have mentoring and coaching skills.
  • Be familiar with web service integration, REST, and JSON.
  • Have strong computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, algorithms, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
  • Communicate effectively in writing and conversation.
