Mid-Senior DevOps Engineer - LMI - Remote US

Automate cloud infrastructure and CI/CD for LMI’s federal SHEPRD application. Help deliver secure, dependable releases across development, testing, and production environments.

Aprašymas

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, security scanning, and deployments
  • Provision and administer cloud infrastructure across development, testing, and production environments
  • Create, maintain, and troubleshoot deployment configurations with Helm and Kubernetes manifests
  • Manage and troubleshoot Helm releases through Rancher Fleet and Palantir Apollo, including database migration jobs
  • Deploy and support containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS
  • Set up monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards
  • Diagnose infrastructure, networking, configuration, container, and deployment problems
  • Assist with incident response, rollbacks, service recovery, and root-cause analysis
  • Administer application configuration, secrets, certificates, and deployment dependencies
  • Partner with developers and cybersecurity engineers to strengthen reliability, security, and delivery processes
  • Keep deployment documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks current
  • Join Agile ceremonies and support SHEPRD releases and operational events

Reikalavimai

  • Hold an active Secret security clearance
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • Bring at least five years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, or a related field
  • Have experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
  • Have deployed and supported applications in AWS, Azure, or comparable cloud environments
  • Demonstrate strong practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Rancher
  • Script with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or a similar language
  • Understand cloud networking, DNS, load balancing, TLS, and application connectivity
  • Communicate clearly, troubleshoot effectively, and produce strong technical documentation
  • Meet U.S. Government security-clearance eligibility requirements; only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Be available for occasional CONUS travel of up to 25%
