Business Planning Financial Analyst

Aprašymas

  • Lead financial planning, reporting, budgeting, purchase order, and accrual processes.
  • Partner with managers, functional leaders, and Finance Business Partners on quarterly and annual budgets and projections, documenting related processes.
  • Assess variances in budgets and projections.
  • Oversee core and advanced finance activities, including budgeting, cash flow, predictive reporting tools, workflow design, and partner negotiations.
  • Work with leadership on long-range strategy, annual budgets, and financial plans.
  • Apply relevant knowledge, procedures, data, and resources to assignments, collaborating across teams to address business challenges.
  • Recommend ways to improve financial performance and identify business opportunities.
  • Advise executives on the financial effects of business activities.
  • Strengthen strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting practices.
  • Compare results with budgets and forecasts, explain variance drivers, and report financial trends.
  • Provide financial analysis and support for ad hoc requests.
  • Maintain accurate, timely data in procurement systems and identify process improvements.
  • Review and approve purchase requisitions for quality and consistency with procurement objectives.
  • Set up and monitor budget codes to track departmental financial performance.
  • Coordinate communication among procurement, business teams, buyers, finance, vendor management, and suppliers.
  • Help allocate and diversify funds across teams.
  • Work across organizational levels, functions, business units, and geographies to understand procurement objectives.

Reikalavimai

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as a financial planning and analysis professional.
  • Three to five or more years of financial planning and business analysis experience, with strong administrative skills.
  • Expert knowledge of finance best practices and the ability to explain fundamentals to people at all levels, including directors and executives.
  • Practical experience preparing and modeling financial statements.
  • Strong analytical capabilities in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills, and experience using procurement systems.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong facilitation, training, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Careful attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Advanced analytical and modeling abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple workloads, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Initiative to launch projects and carry them through to completion.
  • Ability to engage key stakeholders in strategic planning and deliver timely results reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills across organizational levels.
  • Ability to explain financial matters to stakeholders and propose solutions.
  • An MBA is preferred.
