Tax specialist at Banco Yamaha, part of Yamaha Motor do Brasil’s financial services business. The role covers tax calculations, incentives, audits, and tax reform projects.

- Guide the direct tax team on regulatory compliance and sound practice.
- Calculate and record current and deferred taxes under Central Bank of Brazil and Federal Revenue rules.
- Coordinate tax incentive initiatives, including Lei do Bem, PAT, and Inova Talentos.
- Prepare explanatory notes on tax matters.
- Manage federal and municipal ancillary tax filings, including ECF, EFD-Contribuições, Per/Dcomp Web, and DESIF.
- Assist with internal and external audits, Compliance, and SOX work to meet regulations and reduce tax risk.
- Lead tax initiatives, including Tax Reform projects and implementation of Law No. 14,467.
- Analyze tax credits to inform strategic decisions.
- Assess tax impacts of new products and recommend suitable approaches.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in a financial institution is required; banking experience is preferred.
- Experience handling direct taxes.
- A postgraduate qualification in a related discipline is preferred.
