Modernize SS&C Advent’s Geneva portfolio management and accounting platform by building applications with React, TypeScript, Java, and Spring Boot. The role focuses on investment-industry software and distributed systems.

- Contribute across the software lifecycle, from design and research through development, review, deployment, and testing.
- Create a strong experience for end users.
- Collaborate with User Experience, Business Analyst, and Quality Assurance teams.

- Bring at least 10 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Have at least 5 years of front-end development experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Have at least 5 years of back-end development experience with Java and Spring or Spring Boot.
- Demonstrate strong experience designing single-page applications and integrating them with backend services.
- Have strong experience building REST and/or gRPC APIs.
- Understand API design, error handling, resilience, and service-to-service communication.

- Bring a strong computer science foundation covering data structures, algorithms, networking, operating systems, concurrency, and distributed systems.

- Have experience with containers, Kubernetes, and containerized application environments.
- Understand testing, debugging, performance, security, and production support across the application stack.
- Apply sound engineering practices, including code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and maintainable application design.
- Have experience with messaging and event-driven systems such as Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ, or equivalent tools.
- Have experience with observability practices, including logging, metrics, tracing, and production diagnostics.
- Have experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and enterprise identity providers.
- Have experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or comparable CI/CD automation platforms.
- Have experience using AI-assisted software development tools and workflows.
- Have experience working in Agile environments; Scrum is preferred.
- Have experience in wealth management or financial services.
