Description

  • Build modular, scalable front-end applications.
  • Contribute across the software lifecycle, from design and research through development, review, deployment, and testing.
  • Create a strong experience for end users.
  • Collaborate with User Experience, Business Analyst, and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Help define standards and best practices for the presentation layer.

Requirements

  • Bring at least 10 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Have at least 5 years of front-end development experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Have at least 5 years of back-end development experience with Java and Spring or Spring Boot.
  • Demonstrate strong experience designing single-page applications and integrating them with backend services.
  • Have strong experience building REST and/or gRPC APIs.
  • Understand API design, error handling, resilience, and service-to-service communication.
  • Have experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including query performance and transaction management.
  • Have experience with microservices architecture and distributed application development.
  • Bring a strong computer science foundation covering data structures, algorithms, networking, operating systems, concurrency, and distributed systems.
  • Understand concurrency, multithreading, synchronization, and asynchronous programming.
  • Have experience with containers, Kubernetes, and containerized application environments.
  • Understand testing, debugging, performance, security, and production support across the application stack.
  • Apply sound engineering practices, including code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and maintainable application design.
  • Have experience with messaging and event-driven systems such as Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ, or equivalent tools.
  • Have experience with observability practices, including logging, metrics, tracing, and production diagnostics.
  • Have experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and enterprise identity providers.
  • Have experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or comparable CI/CD automation platforms.
  • Have experience using AI-assisted software development tools and workflows.
  • Have experience working in Agile environments; Scrum is preferred.
  • Have experience in wealth management or financial services.
