Senior Software Engineering Manager, Framework and Graphics
Lead Cadence’s China-based framework and graphics teams, guiding R&D across application infrastructure, user interfaces, and visualization. Drive scalable engineering practices and delivery across product initiatives.

- Lead R&D programs in framework and graphics engineering.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners to deliver several projects.
- Diagnose and fix technical issues across framework and graphics systems.
- Improve engineering processes and establish effective practices.
- Coach junior engineers and support team development.
- Join weekly technical reviews, assessing feasibility and raising concerns.
- Lead the technical direction and people development for application frameworks, UI infrastructure, visualization, and graphics.
- Work with framework, graphics, geometry, meshing, and pre- and post-processing teams to build maintainable infrastructure that supports business and product goals.

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software, computer science, mechanical engineering, or a related engineering field.
- At least 20 years of software industry experience, including management of framework and graphics teams.
- Demonstrated leadership and a track record of developing teams.
- Strong technical expertise in C++, C#, .NET, Python, Windows, and Linux.
- Strong programming skills in C++, C#, and Python, with software architecture experience.
- Experience designing user interface and application frameworks, APIs, and plug-in architectures.
- Experience with 2D and 3D graphics visualization.
- Experience profiling performance and handling memory management and multithreading.
- Experience developing cross-platform software and maintaining backward compatibility.
- Experience with automated testing, debugging, CI/CD, and code quality practices.
- Ability to translate requirements and estimate effort.
- Experience coordinating framework, graphics, geometry, UX, QA, and product teams.
- Experience managing technical debt, risks, dependencies, and release readiness.
- Avalonia, Gigasoft, or SciChart experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar.
- Strong people leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to promote accountability, clear execution blockers, and keep delivery predictable and high quality.
- Collaborative approach, with the ability to influence across teams and build alignment.
