Senior Healthcare Data Analyst
Analyze medical and pharmacy claims to generate sustainable insights for healthcare benefits, underwriting, and cost-containment decisions.

- Collaborate with Analysts and Data Scientists to turn business priorities into practical analytical approaches
- Create, test, and improve durable methodologies for complex analytical problems
- Analyze large, unstructured healthcare datasets, including medical and pharmacy claims
- Develop and maintain reliable SQL queries and analytical datasets
- Create visualizations and summaries for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Convert complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations
- Record methodologies, assumptions, and limitations to support transparency and repeatability
- Conduct exploratory analyses, generate hypotheses, and interpret results
- Coordinate definitions, methodologies, and data-quality standards with Analytics colleagues
- Lead stakeholder-driven initiatives where analytics can improve business performance
- Provide analytical support to underwriting, product, account management, and cost-containment teams
- Report directly to the VP of Analytics
Талаптар
- Bring 5–8+ years of healthcare analytics experience, ideally in health benefits or insurance, with a strong understanding of the US health insurance system
- Have extensive experience analyzing administrative healthcare data, including medical and pharmacy claims
- Apply strong mathematical and statistical fundamentals, including quantitative reasoning, distributions, rates, and variability in real-world healthcare contexts
- Demonstrate advanced SQL capability, including developing, optimizing, and validating complex analytical queries
- Show advanced proficiency with data visualization platforms such as Tableau
- Have substantial experience using programming languages such as Python for analysis and data wrangling
- Have substantial experience cleaning, validating, and exploring large, complex datasets
- Understand descriptive statistics, cohort analysis, risk assessment, trend analysis, and causal reasoning
- Exercise sound analytical judgment when selecting and explaining appropriate methods
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical discipline
- Be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
