Senior Finance Officer - Hybrid in Malta
Senior Finance Officer supporting accounting operations for a professional services firm in Malta. The role covers reconciliations, payments, VAT filings, and monthly management accounts.

- Support expense reimbursement documentation
- Record financial transactions and retain supporting records
- Prepare scheduled cheque and cash deposits according to established procedures
- Respond to supplier matters and finance queries
- Reconcile bank accounts, receivables, payables, and general ledger balances
- Process payments to suppliers
- Issue recurring client invoices and account statements according to established procedures
- Make accurate, timely payments to authorities, including VAT, Social Security, and Inland Revenue
- Prepare VAT returns and communicate with tax authorities
- Prepare and consolidate monthly management accounts
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain accurate, compliant, and efficient finance operations
Талаптар
- MQF Level 6 qualification in Accounting or Finance, or current ACCA studies
- At least two years of finance or accounting experience in Malta
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant IT systems
- High attention to detail and strong professional integrity
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proactive problem-solving skills and reliable deadline management
- Submit a detailed CV in English
