- Define technical direction across architecture, APIs, performance, accessibility, security and maintainability
- Contribute directly to production code where hands-on involvement will have the greatest impact
- Partner with Product and Design during discovery and solution development
- Create clear expectations and foster strong ownership across the team
- Give actionable feedback, support career growth and address performance issues directly
- Establish build-and-run accountability through testing, observability, resilience and operational readiness
- Advance CI/CD, automation and release practices while improving the safety and scope of production changes
- Promote responsible AI-assisted engineering by requiring generated outputs to be understood, tested and reviewed
- Lead software delivery across web, native mobile and backend platforms

- Experience leading engineers who deliver customer-facing digital products in production
- Strong full-stack web engineering expertise, ideally with Next.js or React, TypeScript, GraphQL and backend integration
- Ability to write production code while managing people and setting technical direction
- Capability to guide architecture and implementation choices
- Familiarity with native iOS and Android development
- Experience managing engineers, supporting development and addressing performance or delivery challenges
- Ability to use customer feedback, production data and engineering evidence to test assumptions and adjust direction
- Understanding of building secure, resilient software at scale

- Experience with GraphQL, Node.js and/or .NET and C#
- Familiarity with iOS and Swift, or Android and Kotlin

- Knowledge of secure design, identity, privacy and encryption
