- Plan and optimize email campaigns from drafting through launch and performance review
- Create and refine automated journeys that convert prospects into customers
- Keep existing email automations current
- Manage lead magnets from concept and copywriting or writer briefing through ongoing updates
- Find ways to grow the email subscriber list
- Create forms, pop-ups, and landing pages that turn visitors into subscribers
- Organize and maintain MailerLite accounts
- Create audience segments and interest groups
- Adapt messaging, tone, and send frequency for different audiences and industries
- Brief writers and develop blog content with them
- Edit and strengthen existing email marketing content
- Create original email marketing ideas with potential to attract citations and search traffic
- Track email marketing results and set key performance indicators
- Review campaign results and make improvements
- Follow deliverability standards and email industry best practices
- Keep up with email marketing features, research, trends, and community discussions
- Work with the Email Lifecycle Manager to align marketing and product or lifecycle emails and avoid overlap

- A strong writing portfolio with newsletters or campaigns you wrote that performed well
