Senior DevOps Associate — Hybrid in India

  • Build, secure, automate, and operate the cloud platform supporting GALE’s products
  • Provision and manage GCP infrastructure across Compute Engine, VPC networks, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud CDN, Cloud Armor, Cloud Storage, and VPC Service Controls
  • Maintain AWS environments while aligning standards, tooling, and security across both cloud platforms
  • Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules
  • Deploy and operate workloads on Google Kubernetes Engine using Helm charts and ArgoCD-based GitOps releases
  • Optimize cluster configuration for reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, code and container scanning, and promotion across development, staging, and production
  • Automate build and release processes
  • Support Cloud SQL and BigQuery, including access controls, backups, performance, and availability
  • Configure and maintain application stacks, web servers, middleware, and databases across Linux distributions
  • Manage monitoring, logging, dashboards, and alerting with tools including Datadog and Grafana
  • Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis while implementing preventive improvements
  • Apply security practices covering IAM, secrets management, network segmentation, and patching
  • Assess tools and practices, document runbooks and architecture, and share knowledge across the engineering team
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers across GCP and AWS environments

Талаптар

  • Four to six years of hands-on DevOps, cloud, or infrastructure experience in production environments
  • Strong knowledge of GCP services including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, IAM, and VPC networking
  • Practical AWS experience maintaining infrastructure alongside GCP environments
  • Hands-on Kubernetes experience, ideally with GKE, Helm, and ArgoCD
  • Proficiency with Terraform for provisioning infrastructure across GCP and AWS
  • Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity, or Travis CI
  • Solid Linux administration skills across Ubuntu, CentOS, or Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • Ability to script with Bash and Python
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools, preferably Datadog and Grafana
  • Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting web servers, especially NGINX
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering teams
  • Curiosity and adaptability in a rapidly changing technology environment
  • Google Cloud Professional certification or an AWS equivalent is desirable
  • Ansible configuration management experience is desirable
  • Experience operating multi-cloud environments across GCP and AWS is desirable
  • Familiarity with cloud cost optimization and FinOps is desirable
  • Exposure to DevSecOps tools such as SonarQube, Trivy, or Snyk is desirable
