Senior AI Risk and Governance Manager in Singapore
Lead responsible AI governance for Singapore’s national cybersecurity command centre at Assurity Trusted Solutions. Oversee AI risk, compliance, assurance and lifecycle controls.

- Build and oversee governance frameworks, policies, standards, decision rights, lifecycle controls and assurance requirements for AI capabilities from acquisition through operation.
- Catalogue AI use cases, models, data sources, owners, vendors and dependencies, and classify them by risk.
- Lead or coordinate AI risk and impact reviews covering data quality, privacy, security, explainability, robustness, human oversight, misuse, bias, model drift and operational failure.
- Set lifecycle approval gates and evidence requirements for use cases, data readiness, model validation, security testing, deployment, monitoring, change management and retirement.
- Partner with product, engineering, data, cybersecurity and operations teams to turn policy into practical controls, acceptance criteria, procedures and monitoring measures.
- Set up monitoring and reporting for AI performance, data and model drift, unusual behaviour, overrides, exceptions, incidents and control effectiveness, and drive investigation and remediation of significant issues.
- Coordinate security compliance reviews, vulnerability governance, audits and assurance against IM8, GovTech requirements and other applicable standards and policies.
- Manage risk registers, control exceptions, remediation plans and management reports, with clear owners, deadlines, evidence and escalation of overdue or high-risk items.
- Assess third-party AI solutions and contract deliverables for governance, security, data handling, transparency, intellectual property, support and exit planning.
- Support governance forums with secretariat and advisory work, prepare decision papers and risk briefings, and raise stakeholder awareness of responsible, secure AI adoption.

- Degree-level studies in computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, information systems, risk management or a related field.
- At least eight years of relevant experience in technology governance, cybersecurity, risk, compliance, audit, data governance or AI, including leadership of cross-functional governance initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of AI and machine learning lifecycles, data dependencies, model risks, human oversight, explainability, robustness, monitoring and third-party AI risks.
- Experience creating governance frameworks, policies, control standards, risk assessments, audit evidence, management reports and remediation plans.
- Good knowledge of cybersecurity, vulnerability management, privacy, data governance and technology risk; familiarity with IM8, GovTech requirements or ISO 27001-related requirements is preferred.
- Knowledge of established AI risk or governance frameworks and standards, such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework or ISO/IEC 42001, is an advantage.
- Ability to balance governance, security and operational needs and convert complex requirements into proportionate, workable controls.
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical, facilitation, writing and presentation skills, including confidence working with senior leaders, technical and operational teams, auditors and vendors.
- Certifications in AI governance, cybersecurity, risk, audit, privacy or project management are an advantage.
