Senior Accountant – Virginia Remote

Pavion is hiring a Senior Accountant to support multi-entity close, consolidation, foreign currency accounting, and international financial reporting in a remote Virginia role.

  • Support the monthly general ledger close for international entities and work toward an initial five-day reporting close
  • Perform P&L and balance sheet accounting for accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, leases, payroll, intercompany activity, cash, bank reconciliations, and AP/AR subledgers
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, account analyses, and supporting schedules
  • Investigate financial variances and drive issue resolution
  • Manage end-to-end close activities across multiple accounting disciplines
  • Work with AP, AR, Payroll, Treasury, FP&A, and site or business-unit finance leads to resolve issues
  • Support Shared Services Accounting policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Create and maintain business process documentation
  • Prepare and review foreign currency accounting, including U.S. GAAP remeasurement and translation adjustments
  • Complete intercompany reconciliations for domestic and international entities
  • Support global consolidation through elimination entries, consolidation schedules, and foreign-entity reporting packages
  • Coordinate with regional finance teams on international transaction recording and compliance with corporate accounting policies
  • Assist with local statutory reporting, external audits, and compliance work for international subsidiaries
  • Research and document accounting treatment for cross-border transactions and international accounting matters
  • Collaborate with Tax, Treasury, and FP&A on international operations, intercompany settlements, and foreign currency transactions

Талаптар

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field
  • At least five years of progressively responsible accounting experience
  • Hands-on ownership of at least two accounting disciplines, such as general ledger, fixed assets, payroll, intercompany, or AP/AR
  • Experience closing the books for multiple entities, sites, or business units
  • Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close in a multi-entity environment
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end close procedures
  • Experience applying accrual accounting principles and managing period-end cutoff procedures
