  • At least 3 years of backend development experience
  • Java 21 or later
  • Strong command of Spring Boot and Spring Data
  • Experience with hexagonal and microservices architecture
  • API-first design using OpenAPI or Swagger
  • Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, and Clean Code
  • Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles
  • Experience with Apache Kafka and ActiveMQ-style messaging systems
  • Understanding of event-driven architectures and queue management, including partitioning, consumption, and retries
  • Experience with relational databases such as MariaDB
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
  • Query optimization, indexing, scalar functions, tuning, and data modeling
  • Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes
  • Experience building continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Experience with GitHub and Spinnaker
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Dynatrace
  • Unit and integration testing experience
  • Technical application of AI in development
  • Use of AI throughout the product lifecycle
  • Experience with the SDD (Spec Driven Development) methodology
