  • Keep financial records accurate and current
  • Classify and enter routine financial transactions
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
  • Issue invoices and monitor unpaid balances
  • Maintain the general ledger and resolve discrepancies
  • Contribute to month-end and year-end close activities
  • Produce financial reports such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets
  • Process employee or business expenses and retain supporting records
  • Assist with payroll and other finance administration as needed
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams on financial matters
  • Keep records organized, accurate, and aligned with company procedures

  • At least three years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Solid knowledge of bookkeeping practices and financial workflows
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or comparable accounting software
  • Advanced working ability with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Practical experience handling payables, receivables, and bank reconciliations
  • Consistently precise work with strong attention to detail
  • Strong organization and effective time management
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and operate remotely
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • Dependable internet access and an appropriate home-working setup
  • Experience supporting UK, US, Canadian, Australian, or other international companies is beneficial
