- Edit branded and unbranded healthcare marketing materials for regulatory compliance across digital and print channels.
- Fact-check and proofread existing copy for adaptation to new audiences and formats.
- Apply medical, regulatory, and legal expertise to maintain accuracy and consistency with FDA guidance, internal style rules, and brand standards.
- Copyedit promotional content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, style, flow, and consistency.
- Review references to confirm they are current and satisfy applicable criteria.
- Work with project managers, account managers, designers, copywriters, and freelance editors as needed.
- Maintain alignment with assigned brands and support other editors when required.
- Coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
- Report to the Senior Medical Editor.

- Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, journalism, or life sciences, along with at least three years of agency experience editing pharmaceutical promotional materials.
- Working knowledge of the current AMA style.
- Experience with medical, regulatory, and legal reviews; familiarity with FDA drug-promotion requirements is preferred.
- Self-directed, proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to conduct literature searches and understand scientific journals and medical literature.
- Experience with anchoring or linking in Veeva is a plus.
- Experience across multiple therapeutic areas and product launches is a plus.
- Candidates located in the Eastern time zone are preferred.
