Full-Stack Engineer (React, Django, AI Systems) — United States Remote
Build end-to-end React and Django features for Spotter Labs, a US trucking startup. Develop APIs, responsive interfaces, and AI-driven product logic involving scoring, ranking, and decision rules.

- Build and deliver complete features across React frontends and Django backends
- Develop responsive web applications with React and Material UI
- Design Python and Django backend services and APIs using DRF or comparable frameworks
- Create polished, responsive React interfaces integrated with company services
- Implement algorithmic and AI functionality, including scoring, ranking, and decision rules, and expose it through the UI
- Produce pragmatic, production-ready code designed for rapid delivery and iteration
- Take ownership of features from data model and API design through UI implementation
- Collaborate with a small, distributed international team while shipping quickly and incorporating feedback

- Demonstrated proficiency with React and Material UI
- Ability to design and build RESTful APIs; experience with DRF or comparable frameworks is advantageous
- Experience handling complex business logic or algorithms, including decision flows, scoring systems, or optimization logic
- Understanding of query behavior, performance risks, and caching strategies
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting and communicate clearly
- Comfort using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code and Cursor
- Experience delivering complete products through startup work, side projects, or hackathons
- Background in algorithms or data-intensive systems
- Experience with GCP, Redis, or Docker/Kubernetes
- Familiarity with React Native
