Design Release Engineer - Hydraulic Seals for Automotive Transmissions
Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Design Release Engineer to develop hydraulic seals for automotive transmissions. The role covers component validation, supplier coordination, and launch support from concept through production.

- Own the design and release of hydraulic sealing components for automotive transmission systems
- Define technical requirements and specifications for sealing applications
- Contribute to the development of dynamic and static sealing solutions
- Design and validate oil seals, shaft seals, O-rings, gaskets, and related sealing technologies
- Create and review CAD models and engineering drawings in NX and/or CATIA
- Apply GD&T to critical sealing interfaces
- Prepare and maintain DFMEA and DVP&R documentation
- Coordinate component- and system-level validation activities
- Analyze fluid leakage, pressure loss, durability, and material-performance issues
- Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions
- Control engineering changes and release documentation in Teamcenter
- Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure design-for-manufacturing compliance
- Oversee Tier 1 sealing suppliers during product development
- Support prototype builds, launch activities, and warranty investigations
Талаптар
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field
- Background in automotive transmission systems, hydraulic systems, or sealing technologies
- Experience performing Design Release Engineering work
- Strong command of DFMEA, DVP&R, and root-cause analysis
- Experience using NX, CATIA, and/or Teamcenter
- Practical knowledge of GD&T
- Experience collaborating with Tier 1 suppliers
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced English proficiency
- Willingness to visit plants and client facilities as needed
