  • Meet with commercial and industrial business owners and operators
  • Install energy efficiency measures
  • Conduct entry-level energy audits at small and midsize commercial facilities
  • Verify installations before and after work is completed
  • Gather technical data across an assigned territory
  • Explain program offerings to customers and contractors and encourage participation
  • Answer basic customer questions
  • Record inspections, installations, and customer interactions according to program requirements
  • Complete on-site installations using basic tools and physical effort
  • Identify and troubleshoot basic technical or installation problems, escalating them to program staff as needed
  • Travel daily across the assigned territory
  • Serve customers in the field Monday through Friday, generally from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time

  • This is an entry-level position
  • Experience in construction, facility maintenance, installation, or a related industry
  • Customer service skills
  • Residence in or near central to northern Louisiana, including as far north as Monroe
  • Ability to travel daily across an assigned territory
  • Ability to perform physical work and bend, crouch, kneel, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb and work from a ladder
  • Ability to use power and basic hand tools
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license in the state of employment and a driving record that meets CLEAResult's minimum safety standard
  • Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test
  • Satisfactory motor vehicle report and a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement
  • Where applicable, meet Department of Transportation qualification requirements and follow relevant transportation regulations
  • Authorization to work in the country where the position is located without employer sponsorship
