Support the research nurse or coordinator in conducting clinical trials
Collect, process, store, and handle clinical specimens
Schedule study patients for follow-up visits and study appointments
Collect, record, and organize clinical data
Document study information on case report forms
Retrieve electronic and paper medical records
Collect clinical measurements, including vital signs, EKG recordings, and weights
Perform phlebotomy and transport specimens to the laboratory
Enter study data into sponsor portals
Maintain accurate, organized files for sponsor audits
Collect source documents
File and retrieve study records for physicians, research nurses, and study monitors
Triage phone calls related to research studies
Manage long-term follow-up activities
Perform other assigned functions as required

High school diploma or GED
Two years of research experience, or experience as a Medical Assistant (certification preferred) or Laboratory Technician with at least six months of clinical experience
Certified Phlebotomist certification preferred
Ability to perform phlebotomy according to the study plan
Ability to enter data accurately into sponsor portals
Ability to collect, process, store, and ship blood and tissue specimens
Ability to retrieve electronic and/or paper medical records
Ability to collect clinical measurements, including vital signs, EKG recordings, and weights
