Category Manager, Global Procurement (Hybrid)
Lead global sourcing, supplier partnerships, and product-focused procurement initiatives for MAG45. Help shape category strategy and supply chain performance across international markets.

- Support business strategy by partnering with Key Account Managers
- Translate customer drivers into category strategies and sourcing plans
- Set priorities, develop actionable plans, and lead strategic procurement projects worldwide
- Initiate and deliver strategic product-related purchasing projects
- Create and maintain a global category strategy
- Improve, monitor, and manage the assigned category’s supplier base across cost, quality, logistics, and technology
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with key suppliers
- Develop expertise in the category and its supplier landscape
- Track market developments, identify opportunities, and address potential risks
- Collaborate with the Sourcing Manager and report to the Director of Procurement
- Work with key suppliers and tactical buyers across multiple locations
Талаптар
- University degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field
- At least four years of relevant experience in an international trading or manufacturing environment, ideally involving cutting tools
- Commercial experience with a clear understanding of customer expectations
- Experience guiding technical improvement initiatives with customers, preferably in the medical sector
- Proven negotiation experience and the ability to develop mutually beneficial solutions
- Genuine interest in technical products, particularly cutting tools
- Extensive experience with project management and product-related procurement processes
- Availability to work 40 hours per week
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English
- Strong technical communication and analytical skills
- Experience using Excel and an ERP system
- Willingness to complete reference checks, a digital assessment, and a certificate of conduct procedure
