Works Technician, Process Controller – Milton Keynes Onsite

Description

  • Operate and maintain water recycling equipment, including tanks, pumps, screens, blowers, valves, motors, flow meters, and compressors
  • Complete preventative and reactive servicing and maintenance, including lubrication
  • Conduct process sampling to confirm correct operation and escalate issues
  • Follow company health and safety policies and procedures
  • Keep work areas and equipment in good order
  • Identify and maintain the lowest practical energy demand without compromising regulatory compliance
  • Service and maintain water recycling treatment processes and systems in line with applicable regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Experience in a field or engineering environment is preferred
  • Experience in process or quality assurance work is beneficial but not required
  • A good understanding of health and safety practices
  • A full UK manual driving licence is required
  • Competence using IT systems
  • Ability to work unrestricted in confined spaces and at height
  • Weight must not exceed 113 kilograms because of harness limits
  • Willingness to complete relevant occupational health checks
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work quickly and use initiative
  • A collaborative, enthusiastic, and proactive approach
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads
  • Good communication, flexibility, and reliability are essential
