Design trend-led apparel collections for Walmart’s No Boundaries men’s brand, from seasonal concepts through prototypes and product delivery.
Description
- Create and present seasonal design concepts through sketches and presentations.
- Apply color theory, fabric selection, print execution, and fit knowledge to develop commercially viable apparel.
- Use CAD, 3D modeling, and AI-assisted systems to prototype designs and improve workflows.
- Bring market trends, cultural insights, and customer feedback into design decisions.
- Partner across teams on tech packs, sampling, and on-time seasonal collection delivery.
- Apply sustainable practices and continuous improvement methods.
- Contribute to the No Boundaries Men’s team’s creative direction, garment construction, and graphic identity.
- Uphold brand consistency, product quality, operational standards, and company processes and values.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in fashion design, textile design, or a related field plus 3 years of apparel design, garment construction, or related experience; alternatively, 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in visual communication principles and sketching techniques.
- Strong knowledge of color theory, fabric selection, print execution, and prototyping.
- Experience with PLM, CAD, 3D modeling, and AI-assisted systems.
- Ability to interpret market trends, cultural signals, and customer insights.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Organizational leadership and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to meet product development timelines.
- Must work in a drug-free environment and comply with Walmart policy on illegal drugs and alcohol.
