Description

  • Provide footage you shot and own, or footage with an open licence
  • Write realistic video-editing briefs
  • Build complete post-production tasks in editing software
  • Edit footage, add defects or distractors when needed, and create reference edits
  • Set clear, verifiable grading criteria and explain editorial decisions
  • Solve tasks created by other editors without seeing their solutions
  • Document solutions step by step
  • Respond to questions about footage availability, ownership and consent
  • Contribute to projects that train and improve AI systems

Requirements

  • At least five years of professional editing experience in film and television, commercials, broadcast news, or creator and social media production
  • Experience managing video deliverables from start to finish
  • Proficiency in at least one professional editing program: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer
  • Basic color correction and audio cleanup skills
  • Familiarity with delivery specifications such as resolution, frame rate, codecs, audio channel layouts, and frame-accurate edits
  • Submit a resume and a link to a reel or portfolio
  • Complete a brief AI interview about your editing experience
  • Applicants residing in California are not eligible
  • Must work as an independent contractor
  • H-1B and STEM OPT candidates cannot be supported
  • Ownership of professional footage and appearance releases are preferred but not required
