Description
- Engineer and continuously enhance services for TomTom’s global Apple device estate
- Provide a secure, reliable, and consistent macOS experience at scale
- Create maintainable automation for enrollment, configuration, application delivery, patching, compliance, and device lifecycle management
- Develop integrations and workflows spanning Jamf Pro, Apple Business Manager, identity, security, asset, and service management platforms
- Improve the operability, measurement, and supportability of Apple device services
- Reduce manual administration, deployment lead times, and configuration drift across the macOS estate
- Automate, monitor, audit, and improve enrollment, configuration, software delivery, patching, security compliance, and lifecycle processes
- Define a scalable Apple endpoint automation model using Jamf Pro, APIs, version-controlled code, release pipelines, and shared engineering standards
- Design and maintain Jamf Pro automation for macOS enrollment, provisioning, configuration, application delivery, updates, and device retirement
Requirements
- Practical experience with macOS and Jamf automation
- Professional experience using Jamf Pro
- Experience developing reusable code and working with APIs
- Familiarity with Apple Business Manager and identity, security, asset, and service management platforms
- Skill in replacing repetitive administration and isolated scripts with maintainable automation
- Ability to research unfamiliar behavior through Apple and Jamf documentation
- Ability to convert operational needs into production-ready automation
- Ability to design for failure, test changes before release, scale solutions for enterprise use, provide meaningful telemetry, and create reusable frameworks
- Ability to own work from design through operation and document the resulting solutions
- Experience automating macOS enrollment, provisioning, configuration, application delivery, updates, and device retirement
