TOMRA Field Service Engineer – Brittany, France

Join TOMRA as a Field Service Engineer supporting sensor-based food-sorting equipment across Brittany. The role covers installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, customer training and technical support from a home base.

Description

  • Install and commission sorting systems at customer locations
  • Carry out equipment maintenance and diagnose technical faults
  • Train operators and maintenance teams on equipment use
  • Deliver technical guidance and remote assistance to customers
  • Act as TOMRA’s trusted technical representative in the field
  • Coordinate customer visits while working from a home office
  • Submit service reports and maintain accurate technical records
  • Serve customers across Brittany and nearby regions
  • Provide occasional support to teams and customers elsewhere in France
  • Travel to sites near Rennes and other locations throughout France

Requirements

  • Hold a BAC+2 technical qualification or equivalent in electrotechnics, industrial maintenance, automation, electronics or a related field
  • Demonstrate practical experience with electrical fault diagnosis and electromechanical troubleshooting
  • Speak French fluently
  • Communicate effectively in English in technical and professional settings
  • Bring preferably relevant experience in field service, site maintenance, commissioning, installation or travelling technical support
  • Have experience with preventive maintenance, fault resolution and industrial equipment repairs in customer-facing settings
  • Understand IT systems, basic networking and PC configuration
  • Demonstrate a strong customer-service orientation and the ability to develop trusted relationships
  • Hold a valid driving licence
