Territory Sales Manager - South Carolina

Drive window and patio door sales across South Carolina for JELD-WEN. Manage customer accounts, retail relationships, presentations, training, and market opportunities.

Description

  • Grow sales with existing customers and identify new business opportunities
  • Represent the company professionally through in-person presentations
  • Travel to serve existing accounts and strengthen customer relationships
  • Build and expand accounts for window and patio door product categories
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including sales, pricing, marketing, and store owners
  • Identify and resolve concerns raised by store associates, managers, and customers
  • Present and sell company products and sales programs
  • Create sales plans and call schedules based on available data and market opportunities
  • Prepare updated sales figures for store visits and recommend assortment improvements and changes
  • Manage customer merchandising teams through relationship building, store walks, training, documentation, and issue resolution
  • Support customer initiatives that grow targeted business
  • Report to the Regional Sales Manager

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent two-year college or technical education, or at least five years of related sales experience, preferably in the windows and doors industry; an equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable
  • Ability to read blueprints and complete window and door take-offs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, customer relationship management software, electronic pricing catalogs, MQS/M2O, expense reporting software, and web browsers
  • Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, circumference, and volume, and apply basic algebra and geometry
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the workweek
  • Analytical, strategic-thinking, problem-solving, detail-oriented, collaborative, customer-service, change-management, and leadership capabilities
  • Strong presentation, public speaking, and negotiation skills
