- Coordinate placement and confirmation of direct-import orders.
- Identify and assess potential new sourcing partners.
- Help resolve product quality and delivery problems.
- Oversee a brand or product category and report to the Director.
- Develop working relationships with cross-functional colleagues, internal stakeholders, suppliers, and other teams.
- Coordinate internal and external teams and Time and Action schedules to meet IMU, quality, and delivery targets.
- Review performance before and after each season, then share findings and recommended actions with executive management.
- Keep detailed product cost records, including CIP and fabric costs.
- Negotiate program prices and delivery terms.
- Track quality and delivery measures and carry out improvement plans.
- Oversee product move-outs, cancellations, and related liabilities.
- Take on special projects as assigned.
- Coordinate sourcing strategy implementation and performance across functions.
Requirements
- One to three years of related experience in retail, apparel manufacturing, quality, and trade agreements is preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to build relationships across functions.
- Highly organized, with close attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
