Description

  • Build an integration framework for an ecosystem of microservices delivering production print services
  • Connect hosted and on-premise services for PDF hosting, transformation, viewing, preflight, imposition, workflow automation, and print production
  • Develop and deploy API-based, serverless cloud-native microservices with AWS, Lambda, and SNS on an existing SaaS platform
  • Improve application security, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
  • Work within a Scrum-based Agile environment with automated processes
  • Partner with interns across software development, CI/CD, Quality Development Engineering, User Experience Design, and Product Management
  • Advance services from initial development to production deployment for real customers
  • Investigate practices for identifying security vulnerabilities early
  • Recommend solutions to project challenges and issues
  • Evaluate available software alternatives
  • Support project planning activities
  • Improve processes connected to the assignment
  • Maintain clear documentation of your work
  • Present the project overview and final summary to the executive team
  • Create or enhance Ricoh TotalFlow Cloud microservices applications within the AWS ecosystem

Requirements

  • Pursuing a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university, or planning to continue in an accredited graduate program
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
  • Complete all required pre-employment screenings successfully
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Java, Python, JavaScript with Node.js, C++, or a comparable programming language
  • Understand data structures and algorithms
  • Preferred experience includes REST APIs, AWS, Docker, Jenkins, Agile Scrum development, AWS Lambda, microservices, and cybersecurity
