Description

  • Guide AI for Developers initiatives from initial ideas through launch
  • Write software across a range of technology stacks
  • Make practical architectural and technical decisions
  • Track changes in AI tooling and weigh innovation against measurable impact for developers
  • Advise and support teams and leaders as they adopt AI capabilities
  • Promote engineering excellence through strong code, considered design, and dependable systems
  • Take part in on-call rotations
  • Maintain reliable operations for platform components
  • Create developer infrastructure and products, including agentic coding tools, asynchronous AI workflows, internal AI application SDKs, and AI-assisted code migration solutions

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of industry experience or equivalent depth of expertise
  • Previous experience building developer infrastructure, tools, or platforms, ideally at scale
  • Practical experience applying AI technologies to real software development challenges
  • Ability to quickly get up to speed in unfamiliar domains, technologies, or programming languages
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in at least one of Go, Python, TypeScript, or Kotlin
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • Must reside in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity
