Senior Trading Platforms Infrastructure Architect at HFM
Shape HFM’s MT4 and MT5 infrastructure, from architecture and AWS hosting to resilience and release practices. Lead platform modernization, including Kubernetes adoption, while guiding the platform administration team.
Description
- Define the trading platform’s target architecture and roadmap, covering server layout, capacity, sizing and on-premises or AWS hosting.
- Design high availability, failover and disaster recovery for trading servers.
- Establish administration standards, configuration baselines, access controls and change procedures for trading servers.
- Design upgrade, testing and release processes around MetaQuotes cycles so changes are validated, repeatable and reversible.
- Drive modernization by moving suitable Windows workloads into containers on Kubernetes or Amazon EKS.
- Build and test infrastructure patterns directly, and develop the skills of the Platform Admin team.
- Work with architects, engineers and stakeholders to turn business needs into scalable, resilient technical solutions.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 10 years in infrastructure or platform engineering, including several years designing or operating broker MT4/MT5 server environments.
- Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Extensive experience administering and configuring MT4/MT5 servers and managing upgrades in line with MetaQuotes releases.
- Familiarity with liquidity bridge hosting platforms such as PrimeXM.
- Substantial Windows Server administration experience, including hardening and privileged access management.
- Background designing high availability, failover and disaster recovery for critical systems.
- Experience with monitoring platforms such as Grafana.
- Experience containerizing Windows workloads with Kubernetes or Amazon EKS is a strong advantage.
- Strong CI/CD and release automation experience with Jenkins and GitLab CI.
- PowerShell scripting skills.
- MetaQuotes MetaTrader 5 Administrator certification is preferred.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification is an advantage.
- Clear communication skills, including explaining complex technical topics to varied audiences.
