Senior Supply Chain Coordinator Bristol Hybrid

Senior Supply Chain Coordinator responsible for procure-to-pay operations, supplier performance, warehouse stock movement and data quality at SRT Marine Systems. The role also leads process improvement and line-manages a Supply Chain Coordinator.

Description

  • Manage procure-to-pay (P2P) activities for SRT’s Systems business
  • Ensure purchase orders are correctly raised, approved and progressed through the appropriate channels
  • Follow up with suppliers to obtain order confirmations and support on-time delivery
  • Coordinate with the supplier payment process to help ensure payments are made on time
  • Manage operational supplier relationships, covering lead times, confirmations, delivery performance and follow-up
  • Assist Procurement and Quality Managers with supplier onboarding, assurance and qualification
  • Oversee compliant inbound and warehouse receiving processes
  • Raise transfer orders for stock shipments in coordination with the Shipping Manager
  • Maintain visibility of stock that returns to the system at a different inventory value after shipment
  • Lead continuous improvement across the procure-to-pay cycle
  • Use data to track and improve performance while maintaining data quality in Business Central
  • Line-manage the Supply Chain Coordinator

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Business Central or a comparable ERP system
  • Proven data skills with a strong interest in data quality and process improvement
  • Experience in procure-to-pay or purchasing operations
  • CIPS membership or progress toward membership is desirable
  • Experience with warehouse or inventory management is desirable
  • Experience with continuous improvement or Lean methods is desirable
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience is desirable but not essential, with mentorship available
  • Ability to work flexibly across hybrid arrangements at the Bristol and Midsomer Norton offices
  • Willingness to travel overseas occasionally when required by the business
