Description
- Lead structural design delivery for substations, transmission, BESS, solar and wind projects
- Work with clients to resolve complex technical challenges and develop practical engineering solutions
- Partner with transmission and renewable energy specialists on nationally significant infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with engineering, advisory, digital and environmental teams
- Mentor emerging engineers while developing your standing as a technical specialist
- Deliver high-quality structural designs using established tools, methodologies and engineering best practices
- Apply advanced analysis to improve performance, efficiency and constructability
- Produce complex designs for transmission, substations, renewable energy and battery storage projects
- Strengthen client relationships while building commercial and project delivery capability
- Help create an inclusive and supportive team environment
Requirements
- Relevant engineering qualifications
- Experience delivering structural designs for energy infrastructure projects
- CPEng and RPEQ registration, or a demonstrated commitment to obtaining professional registration
- Proven experience designing steel and reinforced concrete structures
- Expertise in structural analysis, modelling and foundation design
- Ability to mentor teams, share expertise and guide complex technical decisions
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients, colleagues and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience coordinating work packages and contributing to successful project delivery
